We are all jealous you have seen them already, but understand you will get "in trouble" if you let any info slip.
I think I am safe with the comment about the turkey...thanks for understanding about keeping mum. It's a toughie for me!

Everyone will find a favorite. I promise.
It doesn't sound as if that one is going to be my favourite.

I think the parent beads look like turkeys. And the bear with the hands up.

What if I didn't like either of them?

Don't tell me that beautiful owl looks like a turkey on its other side
Well, after sleeping on it I think I'm VERY interested in decorative bird, falling leaves and maybe rolling waves as well as the "not azure bubbles" and the purple dillo. And I'm excited about that northern lights bead.

I won't buy any of the new release silvers now - I'm afraid I'll end up with a turkey on my bracelet without knowing it!

That's right, Uniques are not returnable at all. Most of the time, half of them are of quality and the other half are so-so. That's why the prices vary from retailer to retailer - you have to adjust the pricing to contend with the beads that may not sell.
My local dealer just got in 2 full trays of them. Out of all of them there was 1 I wanted to take home. To be fair, there were 2 more that I would have bought had they been some other color but yellow. From this experience I can see the point you're making. Someone else may want the ones I didn't but that's a lot of beads that were not of the same calibre and aesthetic.

Feeling very lucky that my LD doesn't have different prices for the different types of uniques. I love my LD owner and appreciate how fair she is with everyone.

Loving the new beads, but not all of them. I don't think I will have to shake the money tree as much as I had originally thought-----although this is the same maggie mae who swore she would never buy uu's!!! That didn't happen either !!!! LOL

Re: Trollbeads Fall Release 2011 details
We must remember that if Benjamin Franklin had had his way, the turkey would be the national bird of the U.S.A, over the bald eagle. Are we saying it's a good thing he didn't have more clout in the matter or just that we don't want a turkey on the other side of our bead?

Yes! If they were going to copy an old lock the tulip or chess locks would have been *much* better choices and much more likely to make money for them!

I love the Tulip Lock (and personally prefer retired to stay retired) and have seen a few Chess Locks IRL and have to say it does nothing for me....
you could make one yourself...just paint little squares with a permanent marker on a plain lock...

The xxxx/turkey is seriously cute. You'd be missing out ...
Let's say you had that bead on your bracelet. When you would flip that bead over, you'd instantly think to yourself, " Hey, this reminds me of that kook on Beadthrilled who thought this looked like a turkey."
And, I'll bet you'd smile a little

I have seen the chess locks and have wondered why so many will pay such a huge price for it. It has no appeal to me at all. Tulip lock...that's a whole different story!! ;-)

Trolls, my thoughts were the tulip lock with some gold No rerelease of the retired one.
I too think retired should stay retired.
Hmm... a turkey bead...isnĀ“t the new bear called " hugging bear" ? That would make 4 legs/arms sticking out on the other side

I'm pretty sure 'expectation' would look like a turkey from another angle . . .

So I guess with what we know now, there won't be a special bead of the logo of TB with the 2 lions, for the 35th anniversary.........
