Why did you read the UK weather forecast?
Wonderfully broody but surely I can see the sun coming out from behind the clouds?

Love the "Carpe Diem" bead (I majored in Latin and my other favorite phrase is "Illegitimi non caborundum est") and the checkerboard pattern bead - any idea who makes them/where you got them? Wow - 5 HUs and 2 Nightingales - a little conspicuous consumption but beautiful composition!!

The checkerboard pattern bead is either a lovelink or pandora. I'm inclined to think it's a lovelink bead. I bought it roughly four years ago in Michigan.

Re: Dark & Stormy
The Carpe Diem bead is made by RBF but only available in Austria and only in one store! I'll search my schtuff and see where I got him! RE: "Conspicuous Consumption", not really. I just enjoy what I enjoy. The costs associated were not the concern or the focus. I really enjoy putting these together and once I have an idea and or a theme, I work til my vision is complete. Like everyone else I have favorites. Mine happen to be long retired and a little pricey!retiredk9racer wrote:Love the "Carpe Diem" bead (I majored in Latin and my other favorite phrase is "Illegitimi non caborundum est") and the checkerboard pattern bead - any idea who makes them/where you got them? Re: Dark & Stormy
Ahh! Well, I'm working on the black bracelet that's co-mingled with the retired cap bracelet on this page. I know it needs something more and there are maybe three beads on the bracelet I'd like to swap out for some other beads. I'm also trying to figure out my WT and Chakras so, yeah, I have three in the works!

Music may take a bit longer to create than the beads!

Re: Dark & Stormy
Thanks for the link, and please know that the "conspicuous consumption" comment was very tongue in cheek - anyone who "camps" in a 40' diesel pusher motorhome is all about conspicuous consumption
BTW we traveled all the way to Spartan in Charlotte MI for an oil change once and my husband has a cousin in Lansing. Traveling back through Detroit in the motorhome was an adventure, to say the least. We crossed into Windsor ON and took the high route home.

Re: Dark & Stormy
I totally get you and no offense taken! Camping, now that's something I don't miss at all! i'm sure you camp "well" but my entire youth was spent in a Winnebago Brave and that is an experience I am NOT looking forward to recreating! Windsor is a great town, in fact i love Canada in general! Little chilly for my tastes but the people and the sights more than make up for the temps!

Your combos are a feast for the eyes, so rich in color and texture! You really have a knack for composition. I am enjoying your pictures immensely, TFS!
