Something different
This design is very different from what I normally come up with but I am trying to experiment more! I'm not sure the design works though... Please give me your opinions - is there anything you would change (switch around, leave out, add etc.)?

I'd leave it like it is - it's beautiful!
You have a wonderful moon ocean, btw

Re: Something different
At first I thought, how about replacing the brown bud and amber with something darker, but then I had the vision of heaps of brown tang and blue mussels on the autumn beach, glistening in the froth and morning sunshine.

Naranja, I think this is one of those times where I would have to see and handle it in real life to suggest any improvements. So if you would just mail it to me here?
I really like it.
I really like it.

A beautiful NORDISH TROLL combo - trollish silvers, mysterious dark woods and the blue of the sea with the washed ashore ambers

Hi waterlily! Happy to see you on here . That is a blue goldstone. I'm unsure whether it is TB but I think it is one of Trolldog's Beadbuddies. The reason I am not sure is that I won it in Anna's raffle for Relay for Life. In fact, someone else won it and gave me their prize

You might be surprised to know that it is in fact not an ooak! It is a blue/green feather that I found in Riga, Latvia last summer. Thank you for your nice comment .

Ooh sounds ominous
Seriously, I would feel honoured if you were to plagiarize one of my designs

I think it's just perfect. I love your amber.... it really provides a striking contrast to the blue stribe and the moon ocean.

I like your picture, which camera did you use to make your pictures? I'm into cameras lately.

Re: Something different
Thanks again for your kind comments everyone !
@ kionee, thanks! I really like my lab, not just the flashy part. I did have to get used to the fact that the stone looks a bit battered and was afraid to use it (the surface is not perfectly smooth and little lines run through the stone) but when I found out this is normal for a labradorite of this quality I put it on all of my designs .
@ waterlily, I use my Samsung S730, which when I got it (3,5 years ago) was already a real budget camera . I wouldn't say it is a good quality camera but it has all the most important features and you can make decent pictures with it (with good light). Obviously the input of the person taking the pictures is just as important as the camera used.

Your experiment is a winner! Keep up the good work. I love the contrast of the ambers with the blues and greens.
