New Columbine on leather

I was lucky enough to be able to obtain Columbine from a lovely forum friend...here it is on a necklace......I love Dichroic glass

Its beautiful! Can you tell me more about it? I've only seen mention of it a couple of times and don't understand when/where its from.

It's the remake of the retired bead Columbine by the original designer Paula Radke...they have been for sale on D4E....Here is the museum pic

Not only is the columbine perfect, the azure bubbles and labs makes this a beautiful combo.

Yes...whilst I am thrilled at the remake if I had paid mega bucks for the original..maybe not..

It's a marvellous bead, remake or retired! Goes so well with labs and pearls, like a shimmering sea shell on the beach.

agree about big bucks for retireds though, I'd love a joyful but it were brought back as a remake and I had payed the retired price, I wouldn't be amused. To put it mildly.

Columbine is the state flower of "Colorful Colorado" where I lived for many years. I'd surely love to have one of those beads on a bracelet as a remembrance of the purple mountains' majesty.
