Swiss WTB on June 18th

Swiss shops are announcing that there will be Swiss WTB on june 18th. No hints so far what the beads will be.

We've heard a similar rumor. A bit late though as the USA beads will be out on the 4th of July... but it keeps us happily awaiting something new!

I'm never going to keep up! I am still waiting to afford the UK beads and Lithuania is due soon.......my bead budget is not big enoough for the WTBs!

When will the Lithuanian beads be out

Eidelweiss, cheese, Alps, yodeling, that big long alpenhorn . . .

those are the trite touristy things that come to mind. But I'd like a good eidelweiss silver.

Wow that is unexpected. I didn't actually think there would be any WT release in between the Lithuanian and the US.
And I would have thought that the last WT releases would be Australia and something Asian to get an even spread of the 10 releases. Maybe they will do more than 10 afterall!

But Swiss sounds great! I am immediatly thinking cheese and chocolate lol

I am happy to hear of a new World Tour release. Switzerland sounds great! Alps - mountains, maybe a mountain bead??? That would be cool.

Oh My, how can any of us keep up ? But exciting as well.
When I think of Switzerland I think of these cow bells on leather straps
with bright colored folky embroidery. They are touristy, but when you travel through the country side you see them on the cows. Or if their into
buildings a Swiss chalet? Zurich has a lot of banking how about a bag with money symbol, OK I'm loosing it.

I can't keep up either!!!!!!!! But I did have a wonderful holiday in Switzerland so I'd love at least one of their special beads. So many brilliant ideas on what they might have. All the cows had bells around their necks which surprised me so maybe a cow bell, or a snowtopped mountain, Toblerone style

Watch bead? Something from the Heidi book? A bead showing various symbols of alpine culture/history--alphorn, accordian, goat, embroidery, woodcarving? Red and white glass--I do hope for something besides that though. My grandfather immigrated to the US from Switzerland, so a Swiss bead might be eventually in order for me.

OMG!!! This is cool, but I still need to get my SA world tour and UK world tour beads.

Oh my...I agree with everyone! I'm very excited about the possibility of new beads, but how am I ever going to catch up? I just started collecting 6 months ago so my collection is in need of all of the retired stuff that I just have to have, the limited editions, and the world tour beads! Whats a girl to do? I've sometimes daydreamed about what I would do if I could just go back in time for a little bit. How shallow is it to be adding "get every Trollbead" to the list?

Some sort of Billy Goats Gruff bead - that would be Trollish and so cute! One of my favourite stories from when I was tiny, not even sure if it is Swiss but the pictures in my storybook definitely were

Oh, I would love that too, it was what inspired my Peoples Bead entry ( )!

@ Fera. I see that it is actually a Norwegian tale, so it probably won't be in the Swiss WT release . The pictures in my little childhood book were a lot like those in Heidi - same illustrator I think, who maybe specialised in cute goats - that would be why I mixed this up. But I do love the story and it would make a terrific bead, Zaklinz.

Okay, now we definitely know that there are at least 12 countries in 12 months, as the World Tour started in September 2010 and will earliest end in November 2011. Does anybody know the countries for August,Spetember and October ?

I'd love a goat too... I used to spend hours working on a goat farm as a child.

Oy, I was getting all psyched for the Baltic states release and then a Swiss release pops up too! The Alps? A watch? Box of chocolates?

It is all too quick. I can not keep up from this release a cow bell would be nice or a cuckoo clock.
