Just to "chat"

hello bead friends!

recently got a secondhand chat bead from a sweet gal. i'd never appreciated this bead. i thought it was a specific theme for computer people or something (idk, it never spoke to me).

now gosh darn-it, chat might be one of my favorite beads...i love the blunt chunkiness and balance it added to my bracelet...and the expressions crack me up!

it doesn't really count as a "wallflower" but is definitely an old-but-new-to-me bead!

so...just to chat! xx

Wow plumbun gorgeous bracelet, I don't have a chat bead (anymore) but it is one of nu favourites. I love the simplicity and shape of it

Don't have Chat, but I can't tell you the number of times I thought I didn't like a bead, and then suddenly saw the point of it and now really enjoy it

I love the eclectic mix of both combos

I'd stopped doing eclectic for some reason but think it's my fav "pocket"/style.

I made a bracelet yesterday and took silvers that I don't often use, since I am not much in beads with faces and also bad memories for the Chat... Every bead has a story: When I was new in the German forum a member offered me several retired beads and I was all happy that she would deal with me and gladly bought the Chat. Later I found out at a quite high price, but that was my decision. However, when then got into trouble with her about Christmas balls (she had one I wanted that she would only sell at a very high price, but on the other hand wanted to buy one from me at a very low price - no change possible with her... long story) I looked at the CHAT and thought about the trouble. I added the CHAT to the "Change beads" when meeting other TB addicts, but no interest and felt it was obviously meant to be that it stays. Yesterday I thought again that is is really a nice bead and was glad to still own it. I think I made peace with it now

Oh another wonderful combo, Puschkin. It is always best when we are able to make peace with whatever has annoyed us (quite difficult at times, also ). All your lovely combos make me really wishing for a chat bead - because I love our little chats, my dears
