Squirrels in the trees

I love squirrels Sometimes one runs underneath my office window (luckily our office cat does not know of it ).

I had just freed up the Ohmtoberfest bead and the carved amber from a re-arranged bracelet and just like a sqirrel squirreling away tasty nuts, they were taken for this bangle instantly



The cute little squirrel on the tree is from Beads in Opera. They make fantastic beads, I think

The bead is from Beads in Opera. It is quite long and curved, not straight, so I have worn it so far on the bangle but I tried it on the bracelet and it is possible there, too, but I do not have more beads to go with it (yet ), so at the moment a bangle bead it is. It looks super also on the smaller bangle alone with just the oxidised stoppers on the sides Beads in Opera are from Rome/Italy and sell via their Facebook Page only as far as I know. I sent them a PM, paid via Paypal and received this lovely bead. I just today received another one (a dragon ). I will take a picture tomorrow or during the weekend

Great combo! I love Beads in Opera - they make such great beads and FN - and now have several--including the squirrel bead that you have. Great quality and detail on their beads for very reasonable prices.

I have many, many squirrels on my property.  My dog goes crazy for them, unfortunately!  When my kids were little, we had a bird feeder right up against our window.  The feeder was a squirrel-buster, meaning that when the squirrel put any weight on it, the food got tucked up inside.  The only squirrel I saw beat the system was a mother.  I was quite impressed.  Not to leave them out entirely, I would put peanuts out for the squirrels on the ledge as they are so cute.

I do not think, that it would look good on a fantasy necklace. It is not straight but curved and might look a bit odd. Shall I try and take a photo for you?

Oh, no. It is ok, I don't need to see a picture, but thank you for offering. I knew you said that it was curved, but thought that with the length it might still look ok. But, I suppose it might throw it off balance too much.
