I woke up this morning to the news of David Bowie's passing and to the news that the only bridge connecting eastern and western Canada had cracked and would be closed indefinitely. Both seemed so absurd that it felt like they should have been April Fool's jokes. The news on the bridge is now less dire (one lane has been reopened). I wish that the news on David Bowie would also be changed. Sad

When I heard the news yesterday morning, I was shocked. The music world has lost a great talent with David going to another world.
