I totally know the feeling. I found mine here at a discounted price http://www.luis-24.de/Trollbeads/Retired/Trollbeads-Eisbaer-3948-7806.html It looks like there are more to be "rescued"
Thank you, dear Trollperle! Now I know where to find one!

Polar Bears are quite big, and a bit quirky to use, but well worth re-homing

I thought so, but thanks for the heads up! He does look headstrong and a bit on the winter-fatty-side With a lot of luck he will be with me this Thursday and then we will see where he wishes to reside

Re: Polar bears
I just ordered a TB Polar Bear too. He is on his way to me. Agree that he may be a little tough to use but he has a nice, abstract and sculptural quality to him. I am also planning to get the Rhinoceros. Please post photos or links for your combos with Mr. Polar. I am looking forward to seeing people's combos with him! I think he would work nicely on any animal themed bracelet or on an icy winter theme bracelet etc. He definitely deserves some love!

Re: Polar bears
I bought a red cross leather (mainly for the bead) and wore a Polar bear on that for a couple of days...........it was enough to teach me white is not a good colour for me, especially at this muddy time of year

Polar bears aren't pure white either, so this should be perfect.

Re: Polar bears
While looking for the Trollbeads polar bear, I came across an orphaned Ohm polar bear looking for a home. He was the last of his kind and so he came to live with my seals on my winter bracelet.
Perhaps one day I will still get a Trollbeads polar bear to be mother bear to them both. But, at least they have each other
