my holiday bangle combo

Last week I have been visiting the beautiful city of Florence in Italy. I have really very much enjoyed my stay there ... a lot of good food, lots of sun , amazing historical buildings, many masterpieces of art, very friendly people and so many nice stores to shop around! Not only beads!
Here is my bangle combo that I have worn every day. When I go on holidays I only wear bangles because I think they are much more comfortable to wear than a full bracelet. In the background you can see the amazing dome of the Cathedral of Florence.

Thank you! I bought two beads in Florence ... an azure bubble bead and a blue unique with white/green fern pattern on it. I really like the unique for its design but probably it's a bit tricky to combine.... Other than beads there is so much to shop in Florence ... especially beautiful leather bags, hand-made perfumes and other amazing jewelry pieces.... All the things that make us ladies happy!

FLorence is wonderful! Looks like you had lovely weather too. Bangles are perfect for traveling. Did you tour the Duomo and any of the museums? I bought the world tour Italy Romulus and Remus bead to remind me of Florence, which is where in a museum I saw an old R&R  sculpture by unknown artist.

Love your Azure bubbles, it is getting harder to find good ones, they all seem very "muddy" these days 

We visited Florence many years ago, can you still climb to the top of the dome of the cathedral ?

As for weather I really was fortunate.    I did a lot of sightseeing including guided tours to the Accademia (David) and Uffizi Galleries. I am still very much impressed by those magnificent masterpieces of Renaissance art.

Fuzzyfeet, it is still possible to climb to the top of the dome ... but you have to bring a lot of time with you waiting in the queue. I actually wanted to climb the Giotto tower but after realizing having to wait up to two hours standing in the sun I have changed my mind on it. Instead of it I climbed the Tower of the Palazzo Vecchio that offers a great view at the city, too.
