Canada Day 2015
A little late in the showing, but this is what I wore yesterday for Canada Day celebrations here Just before we left for the celebrations I remembered that I had a pair of red maple leaf earrings, so I quickly tracked them down and put them on too.
One of our local universities puts on a celebration every year with bouncy castles, bands, jugglers, games, and food. And they top it all off with fireworks at the end. This is the first year that we've gone, but our kids had a blast. They were *really* tired for the fireworks, but were determined to see them. And their faces when the first one went off were priceless: jaws dropped, eyes went wide, and then they broke into huge smiles. Hopefully well worth the crankiness I might get today for letting them stay up two hours past their bedtime (and my oldest was even up a little early this morning. Youngest is still zonked out in bed though )

Hooray!
My Victoria Day bracelet was on duty for Canada Day, too.
I've Ice Bear and an elk bead here with the red and white Trollbeads uniques, and the maple leaf dangle by Brighton.

I love it LindaJo! I really love that enamel maple leaf in the centre
Your silvers are perfect. I saw what I thought was the retired polar bear at my LD last week and thought about getting it for my bracelet, then realized it was the rhino, not the polar bear.

The silver second from left is Ohm's Get Your Nog On. Usually we have a Canada Day BBQ (and a BBQ calls for cold refreshing drinks ) although we didn't end up having one this year.
The lock is Brighton. It's a little longer than the standard TB lock, so I can use it with a shorter chain and still get a snug fit.
