Apricot Copper

During our trip to Salzburg last week I finally bought the Apricot Blossom from the Austria World Tour beads. First I asked myself  what took me so long, but when it went on the copper bangle I knew - it had waited for its perfect home. And my symbols bead is super happy, too, because it is one of those beads that I really really like but that never quite made it on a bracelet, before. Now it does

LOL - I bought that bead in Salzburg too, I wanted one from the Austrian set and finally decided on that one. I wonder if it was the same shop, quite near Mozart's birthplace? It looks lovely on your bangle, and it looks to be a really beautiful example of the bead.

Amanda, yes I think it might have been the same place, a jeweller in a „Durchgangshaus“ (one of the many throughways off „Getreidegasse“). There is another bigger dealer with more variety called „Perlenwelt“ whom I also like to visit, but that shop is a bit to the side in another street not directly off „Getreidegasse“

Cats, I love the copper! The bangle is a little bit differently shaped, I think, it wears more comfortably than the silver one. Mine now is darkening in patina a lot but I actually like that! It reminds me of a copper pendant I got in a „Pfahlbaumuseum“ at the Bodensee during my honeymoon (all darkened and greenish but full of good memories).
