Happy Victoria Day!

Today, we celebrate Victoria Day in Canada. Ostensibly, it's to honour Queen Victoria. It's become the traditional beginning of Summer in Ontario, the first long weekend, the time to go open up your cottage for the Summer. BBQs and fireworks. I've Ice Bear and an elk bead here with the red and white Trollbeads uniques, and the maple leaf dangle by Brighton.

Dear LindaJo, my deepest congratulations for Victoria Day and especially for fantastic bracelet! At the beginning of May 9 I selebrate the Victory Day (this year was the 70 anniversary), but second year I selebrate Victoria Day in Toronto, so that we now have many holidays! I would like to know about the maple leaf. Where can I buy this? I really liked all your beads and hope to create somthing like your's.

The maple leaf dangle is made by Brighton, a US company known for their leather handbags and belts. Their charm bracelet system is not sterling silver, but well-made silver-plate. I don't think Brighton products are sold anywhere in Canada. I bought it in the US.

I'm loving the elk as well!

I got the elk bead off eeek-bay a few years back, but he and some cousins are carried by a jeweler in Utah. I don't know about buying from them, you may need a troll fairy in the US.
