LE Pastel Agate set
All this talk of the new Summer Stones kit reminded me to dig these out - worn yesterday.
I am pretty sure they are all dyed - I think the best ones are the blue, green and purple ones. Not sure the orange and pink colours worked so well. But they haven't faded which is good news.

Re: LE Pastel Agate set
Yours look just as pretty as they were when they were released. Mine (blue and pink) have faded, no crackle effect at all. Do you keep yours out of the light? I debated with myself for a while before reserving a blue quartz from the Sunbeam Kit because blue stones seem prone to fading but have decided to get one and make sure I keep it in a box when not in use. If it does fade I will return it to UK Troll HQ. Thinking about my faded pastel agates I suppose I could email TB with pics taken just after I got them and pics of them now and ask them for their comments.

They are quite pretty, they look like egg shell/dragon eggs to me.

Beautiful! I never got to see these in person. I don't think they ever made it to the US market. They look very nice together!

They are very pretty, but I went for the more natural Ocean Jaspers instead

Re: LE Pastel Agate set
Thank you everyone
Oh dear, I am sorry to hear they have no crackle effect as that makes them so pretty. Yes, I do keep them stored out of the light, and they haven't faded. Some of my Chinese Jades have changed colour and my CLAs - but I think those are the only ones where I have had problems. Good luck with TB HQ!

I did buy them as a set for Easter - my Easter Eggs!
Re: LE Pastel Agate set
I have just had an email from TB UK asking me to return my beads which they will replace. I will be careful to keep the new ones in a box.

I think these agates could mix well with the new Summer Stones. I do not have these agates, but I do have three SS coming my way: both agates and a carnelian.

Re: LE Pastel Agate set
I am looking forward to getting the summer stones I have ordered, the carnelian, citrine and blue quartz. I am going to try them with the Daydream Blossom which I think they should match and also do an all stone bracelet with the ones I already have.
I like all the summer stones but probably wouldn't use the other ones so much, although I have seen some pics of almost all white Howlites, one of those might be good.

Re: LE Pastel Agate set
I received my replacement beads yesterday, but look at what they sent
They are the turquoise and pink agates from a few years ago. I do like them, particularly the turquoise and have a few already. I will email them tomorrow to ask if they have any of the Pastel Agates instead, if not, I am happy with these.

I emailed TB and they have now sent the Pastel Agates and I can keep the Agates they sent first. Good customer service!
