New Horizons

I got my New Horizons bead the other day, and I am a bit disappointed, its a lovely little bead..........but it is a very little bead !



I had an idea for a bracelet with a proud galleon sailing through a Moon Ocean sea, but instead it looks like a paper boat being swamped in a puddle  

 

Not only is it small height wise, but it's also very thin, it struggles to hold its own with a pearl size bead.



I'd love to see pictures of how you use yours to inspire me.

I agree it is a very narrow bead I think it should be a price group 1 not price group 2 but it does look lovely with your pearl combo

This was the one bead I was planning to buy from the release until I saw it. It's so tiny it should be band 1 but it was the little heart at the back that really decided me. So no little ship was added to my collection.

That looks really small.  
How does the size compare to the world tour ship bead?  
I don't see the beads IRL anymore so am thankful for threads like this.  
I was thinking of getting it, but probably not.
And a heart!  Are you kidding me!

That's also the one bead I wanted from the release. Ohhh man didn't know it was sooo tiny. I noticed the heart on a stock picture and thought it would be awesome as a ship for Stannis (Game of Thrones, he has a fleet and his sigil is a burning heart). But the size, I don't know.... I hoped it would be the same size as the Viknig's ship with sail but it seems it's more of a size with the Hong Kong ship.

I hope you can return it!

I agree!!  I have it, but I don't think my photo will be inspiring....the ship is nestled between two ooaks - 4th from the end.  In the photo you are looking down at the sails and the ooak between the ship and beach is an S&B.

I found the heart, so tiny I can barely see it (with glasses   ) so I won't worry about that !

I won't send it back, its cute, but I think it's going to be too small for what I had in mind   

And it's way overpriced !
