Testing the Copper bangle
The girl in me loves the rose gold color. It's as close as I will ever come to a rose gold bangle
I've worn it for two days now and put it in it's zip-lock bag for the night. Probably it will need daily polishing to keep the color like this.
The stoppers did have small tarnished spots (even brand new from the shop), that could be removed with a polishing cloth.

Does look good, but annoying about the polishing.

Re: Testing the Copper bangle
I love the „care-taking-advise“ Nadia put on her page - we already joked about just needing Tequila on top of it for a bit of fun after cleaning the copper

Thanks for your opinion and for the pic, Fleur Those look very pretty. I'm in a track for buying of two copper stoppers first.
Trollperle Is Tequila your pet? Good advise

Re: Testing the Copper bangle
Arineso, no my pets are Gyalmo and Ilvy (though they sometimes act like Tequila )
This is Gyalmo, Middle name: The Queen
And this is Ilvy, our „little“ (she is now bigger than Gyalmo) Viking Maiden:
With Tequila I meant the alcoholic beverage.
Nadia´s advise has to do with a copper cleaning advise: Cut a lemon in two halves, put salt on one half, rub over the copper, afterwards wash away with water and rub with a soft cloth (no guarantees for this, I have not tried it, yet.)
It remindet Nadia and myself of how you drink Tequila: Rubbing lemon on your hand, putting salt on top, licking this and then drinking the tequila in one shot .

Fleur I am sorry for posting here. Would I --
Trollperle What a cutie!!!! I love Ilvy : ) and Gyalmo : ) they are really royal pets! Thank you for the pics : ) I understand what you was meant an alcohol above, but I wanted to specify whether your pet is Tequila. Perhaps I've confused you with another person who posted about her cat Tequila. Sorry

Re: Testing the Copper bangle
Arineso, no need to apologize We love to chat!
Don't remind me of Tequila (the liquid one), once in my lifetime and never again for sure.
Isn't Tequila the name of plumbun's cute avatar dog?
Trollperle, thanks for the lovely pics of your tow ladies. They look wonderful and have their hair nicely done .
I wonder, if the shops will have fun to polish the copper items on display every day

Love your bangle Fleur!! Have you had any problem with it turning your wrist green after wearing it?

Re: Testing the Copper bangle
Thank you Fleur for showing your new copper bangle! I like the rose gold look very much! I am also very tempted by this new bangle and it is very good to hear that with a little care it seems that tarnishing can be avoided. Thank you for sharing!
@Trollperle ... it is always a pleasure to see your beautiful dogs! So lovely! And what a fun idea to combine jewelry polishing with drinking Tequila! That could be great fun at a Trollbeads party!

Excellent!! Do you think it is more comfortable than the TB silver bangle? The shape looked more oval to me, so I was hoping it would be more comfortable to wear.

Re: Testing the Copper bangle
Both are the same shape, I've just checked mine.
The copper metal feels very comfortable to wear. I was tempted not to take it off at night
If you don't feel the silver bangle comfortable to wear, maybe trying another size will help?

Tequila and her bald head are quite jealous of those coats! She thinks she needs a copper bangle (and a hit of tequila) to soothe her soul. Thanks Fleur for sharing these pics!

Bless dear Tequila - I am sure she would look lovely with copper adornments As for the coats there is some serious combing involved plus snow collecting and fallen leaves collecting

Looking good! Better than the "gold" bangle, that's for sure! I am holding out for the new Summer Stones kit expected to be released in a month or so.

What holiday is the first of May in Switzerland? Europe wide?
It's not a holiday in North America.

I think it is something like Labour Day in the US?

Re: Testing the Copper bangle
yes, thank you Minty, Labour Day, almost all shops are closed, many speeches everywhere, nice for people as it is on a Friday and so they have a long week-end.
there should also be some kind of dancing, getting up of a large may tree and more such things, especially in rural areas.

It's a nice thought but at least here shops are closed only during 3 days over a year. First day of Christmas and Easter and New Year's Day (January 1st) all other days are working days from 10 to 21...
