Druid´s Oak

Every forest is a magickal and sacred place. One of the most magickal ones they call the Black Forest. And in its deepest and darkest part a single huge Oak Tree stands taller and broader than the widest Oak Tree known to man or beast outside this enchanted place. Some say it can talk, legends tell that it can walk. There are not many left who know where to find it, and yet if one truly seeks it and is of a pure heart, the quest to reach it though a difficult one will not be in vain. Its trunk is hollow and still one of the most sacred meeting places for Druids and their disciples. Here the old legends are retold and new ones are born, the past and the future merge for those who can see and the mysteries of all time are being preserved. They say that the mistletoe that grows high up in its branches was brought to this place by the Goddess Abnoda, Protectress of Forests, Beasts and Springs, herself when the oak was but a little sprig barely grown from its acorn.



The Mistletoe was totally unplanned and I will have to forego another non-bead-related big purchase that I had planned plus almost hop onto the bead wagon for the next weeks - but when Serendipity calls who am I to not listen ?

I love your descriptions.  I was thinking of you yesterday when I was reading the book that came with the LE clover (well reading via google translate) and thought your version would be much better!!  TB should hire you to write for them!

When I tried out the mistletoe on this bracelet I just knew that I could not not keep it While there is no forest to wander in easily reachable where I live, I now have one on my wrist and it has really brightened today for outside it is foggy, smoggy, rainy and just alltogether unfriendly. But whenever I look at my new treasure I smile - little magickal sunshine for the soul

BTW - I would love to do some texts for TB However, the stories grow much more magickal if there is a Faerybead on my bracelet
