Re: Labradorit combi
The only differentst is the price, this core is just the same,so good made !
I was 7 years a Tb addict,i didn't wantend something else.
Now i think why not ??
I payed 7 years for only a LAA stamp, not for the beads i like.
You must make the click in your head,it sits between my ears hihi

Re: Labradorit combi
mmm I love an all lab bracelet, you can get lost in them, this is just beautiful
I've given up on TB labs, I got a few gorgeous ones in the early days but I haven't seen a good TB one for sale for aaaaages, it's like they must buy up the slab offcuts . I really don't care about the stamp, it's all about the stone magic

I class myself as a collector first its the same with every thing I collect I do not branch off in other directions.
Its a bit like people who collect art they want the painting not the cheaper print.

Re: Labradorit combi
I was for 7 years a collector,But Tb is collecting not worth anymore .
If you pay a lot for something a few years later they do a remake haha.
But i'm not go to spoil anybody else collection,i wake up from madness

I understand it's a collectors thing, but I've never been a proper collector, especially with stones as it's stone love first, bead second. I always think the maker is Mother Nature anyway and TB use the same lapidarists as the artisans do, so as long as it has a neat TB sized core, I'll be a total stone whore Could you wear an artisan lab only bracelet, so you're not mixing? ~ like hanging the cheap print in the downstairs loo I admit I'd rather go without than have the cheap print anywhere (but could be just as happy with an unknown cheap original!) ~ I feel the same about copied glass designs, but stones are individuals

Re: Labradorit combi
I've been lucky to find a few stunning TB labs in the early days (and love them to bits), but it has become nearly impossible to get good flash ones lately.
Even the TB rep had to admit, that she hadn't seen any for some time.
So I wouldn't mind to go for artisan ones, furthermore I like the smooth and barrel shape labs too.

I could quite ease wear artisans stones and gemstone in fact I do think some artisans are far better than
Trollbeads but I know if I started down the road to artisan beads I would want a big collection of them because I will not mix beads and I can get addicted to things very quickly. This maybe a weird thing to say
but I am not sure why I even started collect beads I don't wear them much.
Maybe I should take the picasso out of the downstairs loo and put a print up just to make sure I am not completely
mad !!!!!!!!

Re: Labradorit combi
Gorgeous labs Kathleen - absolutely fab!
I don't know why but I do know that in my heart of hearts I would actually treasure my poor despised 'inferior' Trollbeads labs more than I would love 'artisan' ones of greater beauty. I did buy lots of 'artisan' glass, stones and silvers at one stage but I never gave up Trollbeads and it all got much too expensive. Every time I needed money I sold off the 'artisans' first at a huge loss and never regretted losing them (I only regretted the money that I had spent on them). I do mind parting with Trollbeads. I don't believe that Trollbeads are better than other brands but I collect Trollbeads - they are my 'thing'. I come from a family of collectors and have the collectors instinct. I don't have valuable beads - that isn't the point for me - but I am aiming at having a cohesive set of items now - much more than I ever did before.
If I buy a few Sabo or Ohm Beads - that is just me having a bit of fun on the side. I am still a Trollie.
