At last!!!

I have finally got round to getting the greyhound lock is was generously gifted, on to a bracelet, which I was also wonderfully gifted.

The store rang during the week to say it was ready for collection, and Dh said....well......get in the car, I know you can't wait to see it

I was so happy to see it, and the staff in the store were also intrigued to see it, as they've never seen such a lock.

Well, enough of my blather, this is what you want to see......




So, I spent the day wondering what sort of combo would do it justice for it's debut, so I chose simple black and white....





I can't stop looking at it now....it's a good job silver is hardwearing - as I have been touching the lock non-stop.

I cheated!!

I had the half a double lock attached first. Then attached the complete lock and newly added fastener to the end of an empty bracelet, then held that bracelet next to another empty bracelet with lock, and measured how much longer the greyhound side was - that was my "difference" and how much smaller than my average size I needed.

I found I needed a bracelet 2cm shorter than I normally wear.

I think I know what length I need, but I'm having nightmares deciding which end to get attached permanently.

Its wonderful, I like your combo and the new lock, congrats.

I'm trying to understand these locks...they don't open like the other troll bead locks so you need to have a jeweler attach them to the chain? If so, how do you slide on the beads and to change them around? I think I am missing something here....Also, is this how the clasp was allays intended to be attached or did it come out differently when originally produced and sold maybe attached to a chain? Also, how does it sit on the wrist? Is it a safe clasp? It looks like it might open up...whatever anyone answers would be appreciated. Thanks....
