Heavy metal prisms Empty Heavy metal prisms

Post by Wildthing Fri Apr 08, 2011 9:31 pm

Having seen a couple of beautiful prism bracelets on here today reminded me how much I love to wear them.

When I usually make them I generally choose smallish delicate silvers, but today I chose some big heavy beads instead including my new RBF beads and I really like the effect.

The big silver beads make the prisms look like works of art.

Beautiful! The prisms provide color interest but let the silvers' details shine.

I like the silver-to-prisms ratio, will copy that! I've been "doing" too much glass lately! Very Happy

Love this!! Prisms are often under-appreciated, IMHO.

Love this! The silvers are playing a starring role with with the prisms providing colour and some sparkle. The two lotus beads back to back are great and work really well with the other silvers including the larger ones.

I like it, Wildthing. Those strong prisms play off the bits of dichroic glass nicely, paler pastel prisms would not do so well.
