A little late 4th
This was my 4th of July ensemble. The beautiful dangle was a swap that arrived on the 5th, but because of a hurricane in more southern states, that was when we celebrated the holiday in Maine this year anyway. Once again, I am very happy with a swap here on the forum. After looking at my photo, I realized that I forgot my Sparkling Star bead this year!

I love that you put Frames on the Fourth of July bracelet. Shooting Stars looks perfect on it too. (I would not have made the connection to put it there and its tempting me to buy it )

Thanks for the compliments everyone! It's always nice to hear good things about our designs from people who share our passion, right?

I bought a few (three) from this seller on etsy: DutchBeadsNPoppers
She is really quick with shipping and has great customer service. I don't see that she has any of this style currently, although she does have a nice pendant style one.
I haven't purchased from this etsy seller (yet), but she has the same ones that I bought from the other:

No, I live in Turner (20 minutes outside of Auburn), so we just got some really heavy wind and rain, no real damage. My daughter and a few friends were camping (in a tent) in Acadia and she said it was pretty brutal. A big tree fell over the empty campsite behind them. I was pretty worried as I couldn't contact them because they lost cell phone service, but everyone was okay. She was scared enough to promise that she won't be braving a storm like that again outdoors. She's traveled quite a bit and has experienced earthquakes, typhoons, and the desert heat and sun, but this is the first time she's been really shaken, so I know it had to be bad there.
I'm really glad that you're okay, Mandy!!!

Wow, you really have been through the wars. Glad everyone's okay. The last nasty storm I've been in was 1987, we lost 3 trees, a fence, a sun lounge and a chimney.
Not fun, especially while camping.

Glad your daughter is ok! I couldn't imagine camping in that! I heard that the campers at the park here had to evacuate and then couldn't go back to get their things because most of the campsites were underwater. I'm not sure what happened with the weather forecast but no one was prepared. My neighbors set off fireworks and right after the last one was a clap of thunder and then the storm came right in. I lost some plants, tree limbs and the food in my fridge from the long power outage but was otherwise ok!

Wow, you got hit hard enough, Mandy.
You know, I almost said that I live in Central Maine, but I figured for anyone living outside of the state they wouldn't realize this: Central Maine isn't central. Downeast isn't typically down, although usually east, yet Up-North is ALWAYS UP-NORTH!!

HaHa!! I just saw this Pandabee. Unfortunately, Uncle Sam doesn't take enough out of me to share with you. After taxing a good part of my income before I even see it, and then taxing every purchase I make, the land I own, and the food I order at restaurants, it's still pretty tight for him. Maybe he can find a way to tax me on my taxes and send a bit your way!

Thank you so much. Did you remember that I made that one? I made the pale blue and cream striped one next to it too. It's been almost 2 months since I last made any beads because of my new home purchase, so I am going through another kind of bead withdrawal.

A truly 4th of July worthy combination - You must have had a blast wearing them - and I hope there was a wonderful BBQ involved, as well as fireworks - Especially after that nasty weather!
