Not as nice as Splinty's, but here is my one. The blue wave will be replaced by an tibet ornament next week

Re: Tibet Collection
Splinty, this is the best combo I've seen using the Tibet set. I love the elephant in this design too, it seems to go with the beads perfectly.
Holly your bracelet is lovely too, has a hippy ethnic quality about it.

Re: Tibet Collection
Splinty, this is outrageously beautiful!
nevertheless, I have to ask a question, why did you not use the TIBET bead, the one with red and blue? for me it was the bead I absolutely had to have, I nearly went mad when I finally got that bead! Did it not work for you? why not?

I confess I bought all the Tibet set beads (my very first excited hunt for beads was the Tibets as they mean so much to me!)...except for TIBET! I just wasn't keen on the colours and poky out eyes ~ which is probably the two things that make everyone else love it I just knew I wouldn't wear it ~ I tend to wear muted colours anyway and as I wear a lot of homemade bracelets with old and ancient Buddhist beads on them, I wanted to make a TB bracelet that would work better with those too. It took me this long to get there working with brights, even without Tibet .
Here's a couple I wear it with

Re: Tibet Collection
Thank you for the explanation Splinty! and your homemade bracelets are to die for! They must be really great to wear together with your "adapted" Tibet set.

Re: Tibet Collection
Extraordinary... Love the warm sun and the clear blue sky... Brings me right back to the one afternoon years ago when I visited a famous Tibetan temple -- I can almost smell the late autumn air and the burning incents...
Thanks for posting such a great piece of art!

Now Splinty tell me you secret, do you creat your bracelets? Is there a special place where you get those beads?

Re: Tibet Collection
I love your bracelet, Splinty - truly lovely.
Here is an old photo of mine, sorry don't have a new one to hand. I have tweaked it a bit since then - the blue and white dillo has been replaced by another GLA, and the beads are placed in a different order. The Capp is a lovely artisan gifted by a very kind trollie here :-)
These aren't normally my colours but I do wear it a lot as it goes with lots of my clothes.

Yes, do tell. I have never seen these beads at my LDs (and there are 9 LDs within an hours drive.)
