not so spring fling??

the weather out here in virginia has been a tug of war between winter and spring. just this morning it was snowing briefly, and now the sun is shining and the sky is a perfect periwinkle blue. i've been trying to do a transition to spring combo with greens and creams...but the white seemed to wash things out...after more bead play than i'll admit today  nothing is speaking to me...does this ever happen to you?? maybe, like the weather, i'm not just ready for spring?   anyway, here are my attempts...

I think you've got some great attempts! I particularly like the second last one - it feels like early Spring to me

like old tapestry work, I love it! this is really blended the colours so well, and I love those bracelets that are not so boring and uniform like,

Did you try to put in nr,1 the desert flower to show spring flower coming in the snow and then use milan to make the soil after that to add the more spring feeling ?

the desert flower does make me think of snow and the milan of something earthy-garden like...i really want to make a spring garden bracelet.

i hadn't thought of tapestry, cats...but that does make me like them better, lol.

thanks, strike! i'm having the hardest time w/"springy" maybe i will just try to do something more out of the box like your combos!

Oh I'm always having days like that plumbun ~ usually when I have a big plan, it never comes together (even though it looked like a masterpiece in my head   ).   I think you got it with the last one though, it has that feel of the earth just starting to warm up and buds tentatively peeking their heads out to see if it's safe yet; plus light that's starting to have a hint of a warm glow, but still a bit of frost in the air. Looks like a spring fling to me, I like it  

I like the last combo best. It is earthy, but with that nasty frost that just won't go away. It is forecasted to be negative 15-20 tomorrow morning at sunrise. Unbelievable! Spring will never be more lovelier.

Love bracelet #3! because of the violets, which are my definition of Spring! Don't worry about the 'feeling nothing' factor, happens to most of us.

Its not just the cold, its the lack of sunshine. Pittsburgh in February, enough said  

Love all the bracelets, 'juicy' is the word that comes to mind. 'Tender' also.

For me actually the first one is the most spring like - Nature awakening from snow and winter. Maybe that is what you are doing too, Plumbun. Slowly awaken and taking your time doing it. It is the best way, I think.
