"Mystic Dragons" 2014 bracelet project complete! PIC HEAVY

Hey all! I'd like to share with you my "2014" bracelet journey. This was my first time planning a bracelet (others have become permanent by happenstance). Started this bracelet right after the new year and just "finished" today. The final combo is at the end. I wanted *moody*moody* colors (had admired the "moody" on a bracelet by Brightonbelle w/mosaics and black ferns and another by Splinty where she showed her sapphire). Wanted the moody to work for either a yoga or a dragon theme (was planning to switch out the silvers for each). I took photos along the way (thanks for humoring me  ). Accidentally contracted a mini-addiction to the black flower mosaic virus,   but now I'm sober (and clean?? ...  ).

It all started w/ these, picked as a matching pair...



I wore them on a mini combo (WHOOPS! HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!   )



Then I realized that the black flower mosaic reminded me of a crackled egg and that eggs *must* come in pairs. Tried to find a way to combine them...



But THEN I realized these weren't just any eggs...they were crackled dragon eggs...and as everyone knows, dragon's eggs come in threes...



Decided this was really meant to be a combined yoga-dragon bracelet, or a "mystic dragons" theme...got a buddha for a focal...



Then the rolling troll hitched a ride, jumping on the end...



And then the baby dragon left his other bracelet on a snow day. The rolling troll gave up his chair and begged the baby stay ...he bribed me with another "egg"--what a smart, silly guy is he!



Baby dragon was hard at work training the others, in preparation for the arrival of his Faerybeads petrified egg, which needs a lot of protection. "Come on TROOPS!!" said he.





Then last week THE EGG!   Enlightened venus demanded lighter colors for the egg's arrival, so we tried it her way   





AND if you made it to the end...here's the final! Or at least how it looks today. I like the lighter tones, but guess the moody darks are truer to my murky disposition. Got a milan and one more mosaic...to round out the bat-cave tones ...     







Thanks for reading and sharing this bracelet "journey."I'm hoping for a faerybeads dragon lock for this one day in the not so far future! In conclusion, I love this "mystic dragons" combo, but think my happenstance bracelets are a less intense process than planning (code: no tangent, manic addictions), and really my "planning" became less creative than I'd intended, so that's a wrap for that!  

     stop now only add the dragon lock is perfect. I love the fb egg with the mosaic eggs is looks great.

It's so great to see the process you went through and I love the end result. You have a very desirable bracelet. It has also made me think about not being too impatient with a look I want to create.

Woow, lovely evolution and wonderful narration... Once your baby... Emh I mean your dragon lock will arrive it will superb!!!

i will try, michelle. i need to just "walk away! walk away!" but it's hard when there's room for one ...more ... bead...but i will trust your wisdom.

i'm dangling the FB egg/pinecone before your eyes (and before you oak king!) i see a lot of mosaic "eggs" on your bracelets too!

patience is so tough, isn't it yohanna. i didn't think that i was   lol but in hindsight i guess it was slow(-ish).   what's your next project?

thanks, cats! my dear! it also had me in suspense, lol. i do recall also seeing some lovely mosaics from you w/lovely perras beads and others...always in unexpected places. i wish mine had more black...speaking of...have you gotten more black beads?
