winter purples

It's being too quite here lately. I thought I'd post a pic of a bracelet I've been wearing a lot since I made it on Jan 1. Jan 1 is when my family traditionally exchanges the presents and, of course, I got a few beads and a new chain.
It is also the last day of the holiday season before going back to work and school as well as the first day of the new year.
I had a winter themed bracelet in mind that I never made because I didn't want to take anything apart.
The silvers I used were the ones I was gifted and the ones that were available in my beadbox and I put them on almost randomly, but it ended up quite fitting for my end of the holiday season mood: lamb for warm and cozy, theater masks for all the turmoil of the family gathering, lucky knot for how lucky I am to have my family (and their presents   ), Om for the peace that could be found even in the turmoil and for the fact the holidays will soon be over and that life keeps going while we are so busy with putting on masks and being emotional...

All that plus the cool, clean winter colors...

It's absolutely gorgeous!!! I would never have thought of putting purple and whites together but it works really well!!
I haven't been wearing my beads much lately so nothing new for me to show I'm afraid

I like the chalcedony picking up the blue in the purple glass beads.

Yes, I have been wanting to use purple stripes with chalcedony for some time and grey wolf wanted to be close by the whole time Chalcedony is an interesting bead, and so is lavender stripes, because it looks ice blue in fluorescent light. At least mine does. My ice blue stripes on the other hand looks white in fluorescent light. I have been debating with myself which one to use.

I need more purple clothes, but   I spent all my money on the beads   
I am wearing a blue shirt with a bright pattern and jeans, and I am wearing this bracelet. Oh well... It has some blue in it too...

I love purples, I think that is a great bracelet, could last you for a longer time than just winter   
And Jeans and Shirt are always so comfy and this bracelet surely looks really nice with it!

Well, if a house with 3 kids, 2 dogs and for the holidays also 2 pairs of parents can ever be called a peaceful one  but yes - very warm...

The most peaceful moment is when everyone is asleep. Then I can feel peaceful and really grateful for all of them  

Ooooh this is so beautiful!! I'm a big fan of these colors. I might have to give this a try. For some reason, I have a hard time combining my Grey Wolf beads.

I had a problem with gray wolf as well. I wanted a gray wolf for a long time, then I got it and loved it, but it was sitting in my bead box for a few months waiting for the winter theme. It also needed a white pearl it seems. In fact, I don't know how else I could use it with my other beads... It's so pretty, seems to be such a versatile color, but it's not versatile at all...

Very beautiful! I have been trying to come up with a blue design that is no longer dark blue (winter / Frau Holle / Morrigan - style), but more January (winter begone / crisp mornings (no more smog pretty please - style). But only light blues I do not like, the darker blue ones are trying to sneak back in all the time but do not really fit... So this is a wonderful inspiration and I will have a go at it tomorrow when there is light, again

The Grey Wolf looks surprisingly good there. I would have never thought to put it with those colors. Hmmm...

I have not worn my gray wolf either.  I hadn't thought about a pearl with it.   Looks pretty perfect here with all the purples.
