Great mail day today!

Although I had a minor mishap with the knife while opening one of my packages, I'm so excited about my mail today!

First up was a gorgeous artisan bead from GlassBonBon on Etsy that I had waited over a month to buy since I was on a bead ban at the end of last year. Thankfully it was still there January 1st   I was hoping that it would match a blue desert that I have, and it does.

Second was a bead that's been on my wish list since shortly after I started collecting, the Viking Knot.



I quickly popped them onto my bangle, along with the blue desert and my clover. Eventually I may build a bracelet with these soft greens, but for now this is perfect!!

They look great on the bangle. Well done to get you viking knot.

I keep looking at bonbon's beads daily and made many spontaneous purchases from her last year - I live near her so I guess 1 day shipping times are not a good thing if you try NOT to spend too much money on beads....

Well I'm glad that something kept you from buying the GlassBonBon bead bubbagump! I honestly was surprised that it wasn't snatched up before I could get to it. Her picture of it is much better than mine too.

One day shipping would be dangerous minty! I sometimes do have to ask myself whether I really want a bead or just want it now ... the fact that it takes a week for most packages to get to me can be useful as a way to curb my spending, although it really is frustrating when I want the bead AND I want it now!
