Gullinborsti

I have had this bracelet since autumn (it matches a few of my autumn outfits so very lovely ). There has been a bead added and changed here and there, but basically it has been like this for a few months (I took it apart with all the others but after only one day, back to its glory it was ). This week I received the lovely honey dew bead I got in Nadia´s Adventkalender event in Dezember (no incoming mail for over two weeks), and when I put it on the bracelet the little OHM wild boar who had been very happy on my red Christmas combo until I took it apart, jumped right next to the honey dew and finally outed himself to being a direct decendent of Gullinborsti, the Norse God Freyr´s magical golden boar. Since it was Friday, Freyr´s day, on the bracelet he went right away, next to the lovely honey dew (hoping it will produce Mead soon ).

I really love the colors of this bracelet!

Lovely combo! My bracelets get too matchy. I don't know how to design like this. Any pointers

Heather, for this one I may not take all the credit. This is the outfit that inspired me for this colour combination The dark blue and the violet one at the beginning just „popped“ there. I am glad they did, for they give it a bit of a twist that has absolutely nothing to do with the colour scheme and yet, if I remove them to put two different „matching“ beads there, I do not like it at all.

I agree, I tend to over-think my combos as well or I have too many of the same colors on a bracelet. I always love the more spontaneous mixes I see here on the forum (and especially from you Trollperle), but I'm not that good at putting those together either.

Well you did a great job, pulling out colors to put together. Very expert Wonderful result.

So beautiful! The color combination is extraordinary. You have such a keen eye to put colors together and meaningful silvers.
