Period Costume Drama

I am really fond of this bracelet but it reminds me of a bad TV period costume drama show where the clothes are a bit overdone.  Too much colour, too much pattern, too much glitter but I have kept the lighting low to help give that old world feel.   

I think I must be a fan of "overdone" when it comes to bracelets, because I LOVE this!!

But I love it , so many beautiful flowerbeads and bright colours.

I was watching BBC Pride & Prejudice this morning. Love that production!

Beautiful and perfect! I love to watch costume drama's once in a while and this would certainly be a perfect companion to prolong the atmosphere.

Wow, exceptional drama! Interesting and different.

@CB BBC Pride & Prejudice is my favorite version of Jane Austen's book. I've treated myself a few weeks ago to watching all episodes on a dreary day. One I loved to watch too but has no happy ending is "The House of Mirth" after Edith Wharton's novel. Fortunately times have improved!

Mine too. I read the book before I saw the mini series and especially the mother is exactly as I pictured her and her shrill lamenting I also just love „Persuasion“ with Ciarán Hinds. Nobody in that movie is really beautiful and yet many of the people are so charmful!  I have seen both many many times

Ghormanghast is a novel by Mervyn Peake.  This was a BBC TV series based on it.

I just love the flowery theme (and maybe I need a bit of drama from time to time )
