Christmas Bracelet Help Empty Christmas Bracelet Help

Post by HeatherD Thu Oct 17, 2013 7:39 pm

For now I have skipped making a Halloween bracelet because half of my Halloweenish beads are on a permanent bracelet that I've been working on, and am almost finished with, and can't bear to take it apart. So I started working on a Christmas bracelet.  I got the grey and black Ornament kit last year, and really like it, but I wanted to make a more traditional bracelet for once.

What do you think of this combination, and I am open to suggestions!  I have a Joyful I wanted to include, but ran out of room.  I also have the silver/gold Pandora Tree of life and the silver/gold Pandora Rope that I thought about including as well.  I have a gold lucky knot coming, but that is a Christmas pressie from my husband, and I won't get it till then.  Also, colors... would you replace any of the glass beads?  If so, with what?

Thanks for looking!!

It's lovely and has a really Christmassy feel. Makes me think of Christmas trees Red Nose

The amber glass could be replaced with more reds, but they both have a warm fireside feel.

A splash of gold would be lovely, what a great Christmas present Smile

Wonderful bracelet! I love the glitters and touch of gold. I agree with cloverbead on the amber colored beads, maybe a bit more red. Or 1 red glass and 1 green glass or an adventurine gemstone bead instead of green glass? I would possibly replace edelweiss with joyful, just because I am partial to joyful and it would go nicely with your silver whorl Smile

I like it now. For me it is by the fire side with decorations and presents.

Thank you all, again Very Happy
I actually replaced the gold silver trace with a bead I think looks better. I will post another pic if I get any more beads for it (ie the Christmas Star!)
