Holiday Album *PIC HEAVY*

Holidays and exploring new countries and cultures has always been my favourite thing to do     I'm not well enough to travel any more and miss it so much, but having a wristful of holiday memories is taking me right back to all the wonderful places I've been and adventures I've had. I promised to 'fess up with my fish obsession, so here's where they all are  ~ and I love em  (but am a tad embarrassed at how many there are!!)    




Jungle, pyramids and diving in Mexico...



Swimming with shadowy sharks in the moonlight and bats in the banyan tree in the Maldives...



Learning to sail in the Greek Islands...



Playing in rockpools in Devon as a child (and as an adult  )...


Coconuts, cannibals, turtles and pearls in Fiji...



Being a hippy in Goa ~ and very nearly never coming home  ...

Those are all beautiful and really conjure up the places they to which they pay homage.   

Wunderfull. You can not have to many fish beads and to be in all these oceans is great.

  I still fight it and find it hard to accept, but I find I can still feed off all the good stuff that's been ~ and exciting things still happen in my head, there are still adventures to be had in there   Here's to living in the moment and concentrating on what we can do, not what we can't my lovely. Big Hugs

 that is how i feel most of the time and when I don't I sulk cry and pick my self up and move on,some days are better than others but as long as we keep trying I'm definitely sure gorgeous and special moments are where we least expect

It's a TB Chess Lock. It was given out at trainings for dealers in Denmark and one year in the U.S.

Your bracelets are wonderful!  I really can feel the awesome places you have visited.   I have never been a traveler-so I totally enjoy all the pics that are posted-places and bracelets.   I feel like I've seen the world thru this forum.    Hope that your health problems are at least under control.  Enjoy life the best way you can.    Memories are so special

They all look like happy fishies in your own school of fish! All the combos are wonderful.

actually i made a mistake and meant to ask what the lock is on the bracelet named, "Learning to sail in the Greek Islands.."  what lock is on that bracelet?  it's lovely.  is it a faerybeads lock?

It's a MelinaWorld Hercules Knot lock bubbagump, it's a lovely weighty thing   

These beauties must make it easy to remember the places you have been. Good times pass so quickly but the memories live on and on. I love your hippie bracelet, well, I love them all and they evoke places I have yet to see.

thank you splinty. it's an amazing lock (love their zebra lock). i just checked out MelinaWorld's beads, locks, etc. i had never heard of them before. very nice pieces. thanks for the info. it was fun to see new beads.
