I was determined to make a new combo using only beads in my box, not from other bracelets, and that worked out great. I'm so happy with my new "Woodland creatures" bracelet. The bead in question is the beautiful swirly, stripey, bubbly one from the "Christmas in Australia" LE kit, featured here on top of Troll tree

But it just so happens that this bead also works on my permanent "Australia" bracelet (both in theme and color).

Wow it looks beautiful! I would have kept it too!

Please have a bit of patience, though for it will travel a long way and will need to take a detour via my Mum´s (complicated mail getting situation I have - sending luckily is no problem, though Smile

this morning my unwanted bead from Stacecase arrived, when I opened the envelope I freed him and greeted him, I asked him who he was, and he replied ever so shy, hardly I could hear him... I am an ice fern...
I looked closer, he was beautiful...hm... but not really my colour...

he seemed to have read my thoughts and with trembling voice he said, oh...you don't love me either, I am a poor and unwanted bead... Sad

a speaking and mindreading ice fern bead....
I did not know what to say to him, but I gently took him to my beadbox and said ...look, ice fern, you are so beautiful, and that I meant, it is just that I cannot really do your colour, but I will now give it a try and give you a chance, I will even consult my fairy book and I asked him to be patient with me...

I took out a Tupilak for him, he seemed to have come from the North, and the Icebear, a Snow Owl and a whale... this should make him feel a bit comfortable, I then choose an Aurora coloured bead for him, maybe he wanted the special light,

he had been sitting in a bead box, I realized, he suffered probably from beadbox - depression, quickly I added some sun-beads, he must get used to sunlight a bit, just very gently...
The more I tried, the happier he became, I consulted again the fairy book and pinched the bracelet a bit, and all of a sudden, I knew...

This Ice Fern has a home forever! sunny

Does he not look so happy in this bracelet? and you should see me, I am most happy too! now..here he comes Very Happy

Poor little ice fern, all his was looking was for a bit of love and he is lucky to have find it...I am sure he will be hiding now and again in Moses fur!
It is a lovely bead and thank you Catworld and everybody previous you for making this game so much fun!!

PS Thank God DH does not know my password....he would think we are all bit nuts...but mind you what a boring life would it be without fairy dust, lonely beads, name for dragon lock...

the ice fern did ask me something, "now that I found here a nice place, is there another one of your beads and what will happen to him?" his voice was a bit trembling and so was mine when I answered,

"yes little fern, another bead has already been prepared to go on a long journey, he might be living with another member from the forum where you came from, don't be sad, he is given the chance to lead a better life"
