I've been trying X as well before most of it was passed on. Some I ordered online and some came from LDs.

Obviously, despite the intro's by TB in August to LDs we learned a lot more since in little over a week... and asking away about links and how the materials are keeping up made some LDs quite a bit nervous...  To me the touch of black is what appeals me, so the flaking is quite disturbing. For the amount spent on the rubber links it is not a great loss, but still. So I'm working out an alternative, I hope.

However one of the links I really wanted, the Cancer link, just didn't please me as link though I think it is one of the better zodiac designs we've seen... so that's when one gets creative... it looks really neat this way

I find the Halloween link cute... :oops:but will have to replace it to render this stack sensible...

The Cancer link fits Pandora chains/bangles too, if you might wondered.

I'll stick to mostly rubber for as long as they are still good, two single bronze and two single silver links and two locks. The plain double links are just not it for me, neither are multiple deco links whether single or double. So it will be just a small addition for the moment. I prefer beads

I want to like the LOVE link, but I don't like the way that the joining link seems like it covers most of the L - and that's the way it seems to be in almost all the pictures of it. I've seen a few where it seemed to sit better (and yours it seems to sit higher) so maybe it's just the angle or there is a trick to getting it seated "nicely".

I really like the use of the bronze next to the silver as well

 Ha, same. I'm not up for all the work of trying to make the X links work, lie flat, whatever. I do like the crab on the bangle but I like the Merkaba better anyway.  

love the x bracelet...expected the big link in the middle to be smaller (haven't seen them irl)...i'm pleasantly surprised ...can't wait o go shopping for my own bracelet. May i aske how big your's is.? And how many links youve have in total?

If permitted, I'll answer for Smaug :single links(including Leo and Aries sign links) are 1cm and double links (including locks) are 2cm,so you can count ,depending on your wrist size+2cm, how many single and/or double links you need.

What is left of my orders are 12 rubber links, 2 bronze doubles, 2 silver doubles, 2 bronze singles, 2 silver singles, 1 silver lock, 1 bronze lock. Love link, Cancer link, Halloween link.

In the pictures above are used 11 rubber links, 2 bronze single links, 2 silver single links, 1 decorative double link, 1 lock.

For me its the novelty compared to the old Trollbeads, as I haven't ordered newly released (collection) beads for quite some time...   but am unsure if this is a keeper.

Lovely combinations. About, X, I do love them as you combined them, and i love the Halloween the most :-)

I love how you combine them - you truely are creative! And Christa´s glass beads are just wow, too, as always!

I like some of the silver links, cannot understand why they used those rubber stuff, they could have used black rhodinated silver links instead.
