My latest distractions

After receiving my latest purchases of new and new to me beads, I spent a bit of time playing with updating my usual combinations.  Any good excuse to avoid housework is wonderful  

First the lion got an update with a new to me faceted amber to protect:


Since my passionflower is still blooming, I couldn't resist trying to be artistic:


But then the lion decided he was feeling a bit feisty and decided to try on some orange:

Then the birds got jealous and wanted to play:


First attempt with my new to me ooak, getting a little dark for photos, if only I didn't work so late...:

And finally, a bit more work on my Halloween wrist decoration:

They're all great! I love seeing the Troll Tree on a bracelet - he looks great there! (as do all your beads)

Wow, every time I think of giving up tbs somebody comes and reminds me how beautiful they are! All your bracelets look great and although I don't mix, the way you do it is just perfect! You even got that beautiful turquoise ooak I loved!

I love the mix of silvers, and all your combos are great but my favourite is the first lion one

That ooak is delicious. I have passed on several in similar colors because I didn't know what to combine it with, but when I got the faceted bead from pandora this summer I had to have one....now I will have to have more!

I got that at waterloo's going out of business sale, I couldn't believe it was still there. All those years locked away in some drawer--waiting for me!

Me too, I don't even have a FN! Got him to wear on the bracelet and the sales lady was confused, kept telling me it was too big for the bracelet!

They are all great and very autumny! Who made the owl to the right of the TB owl? I love her ears - she reminds me of the scops owls we had in Lilongwe
