There is no need to worry - Sometimes it just takes ages for parcels to arrive, then there is customs who might like to hang on to some parcels for a while, but there is still lots of time until Halloween!

My parcel has arrived at my Mum´s in Germany  She will now send it on to me, but as we will not have a courier day next week, it will be Thursday 17th until I will receive it, and of course I will post pictures later In the meantime: Thank you, my dear swappie partner!   (The rerouting is necessary as I may not receive parcels from outside the EU directly in case custom´s charges might apply (where my Mum the mail, custom´s and troll fairy comes in ) As the parcel has arrived at its first address, I removed my name from the list

I was away last week and since yesterday was a holiday for the post office, all of our held mail was delivered today.  I wanted to post that I would be gone, so my swappie wouldn't be worried that the package was missing, but my terribly paranoid husband is afraid that someone could find out that we are not here and ramsack the house--nevermind that we have an alarm system.  He also locks the garage doors from the inside and removes the garage door opener remote from the car--I guess just in case a thief wants to steal my truck and then drive the 19 hours back to our house to steal the nothing inside..but I am terribly off the subject of my wonderful package.  

Here are pictures--sorry they are not good, but I didn't get home until it was dark outside today:

And now for the bead--it is truly marvelous, the pictures do not do it justice and I will definitely post better ones tomorrow with sunlight.  It is a gorgeous faceted amber--I actually have one other faceted amber that I thought was pretty until I saw this one--just stunning:



My swappie did not reveal themselves, except for their California location.
