First bead play in months (pic heavy)
I think I have been in a bit of a bead rut for the last few months, have bought a few but even then not motivated myself to put them onto a bracelet (does make you wander why you bother spending the cash in the first place!) but hubby is out tonight so I finally dragged out the bead box and find it's nicely occupied me for the whole evening
The first two have been together for a while but despite staring at them for quite a while this evening I couldn't bring myself to pick them apart. The first has all of my favourite OOAKS while the second is an attempt to make summer last as long as I can
The next is a new one using some of my favourite production glass
I've had variations on this for a while, not 100% happy with the silver but it's a work in progress
And finally a departure from the norm for me and a largely silver bracelet with just a few artisan glass
I probably should have been more creative with my background but my coffee table was proving to be too shiney and this was the closet book to hand

Love them all, but #1 and #2 are my favorites. What is the lock on #4?

They are all amazing! You've combined brands so well...I find the frightlings hard to work with (but still love them so).

The first combo intrigues me. I haven't thought of putting purple and black together. Very edgy.

I love it when girls show the results of their beadplay, it's always inspiring and great fun to see what kind of collection you have. I'm curious at your 'work in progress', what kind of silvers do you have in mind? The braidbeads are great! TFS!

Thanks all, I adore my frightlings but they are little monkeys to work with, really want to do a whole bracelet with them but last time I tried the dangles just annoyed the hell out of me, I think 2 is my max on any one bracket now (still want more of them tho!)

Not sure, that's the problem! the Skye silvers will stay, it's the two in the middle I am not happy with - may just need to invest in a couple more Skye's to go with the first 2Tinka wrote:I love it when girls show the results of their beadplay, it's always inspiring and great fun to see what kind of collection you have. Lovely bracelets, especially the second one. I have come to love Wisdom over the years, he's on my Xmas list.
I see someone has been reading Neverwhere- I have the same edition and have just read it as part of my holiday reading. Have you read it yet?- I loved it.

Re: First bead play in months (pic heavy)
I've read it a silly number of times (loved the tv series too although it is very dated now). Gaimen is my all time favourite author. The reason this book was conveniently out and not safely tucked away on a bookshelf is because I took it out with me recently so that I could get it signed by the man himself!Rogotroll wrote:Lovely bracelets, especially the second one.
