Sorry, you are right in that clear glass is over the colored cores of the pods, but there is no paint.   That is black glass.

I was speaking metaphorically when I used the verb "painted"   I started to put it in quotes and then I changed my mind . . . bad call!

$52 for 1 link?! That is crazy  And like a lot of you, I also don't get the point.  Unless they are releasing a whole bunch more unique and accessible Christmas ornament dangles this year  But even still way too much money! I would hate to know the price of a gold link

Have seen the new release IRL   and although it may be not very trollish, I really liked some of the beads. The new lock is lovely (and sturdy) too, the crown, ghostfighters and (surprise!) baby buggy are not bad  
Personally I love the silver flowers and will be picking some of them (one by one) within the next weeks.
Unfortunatley the saphire was a rather poor, greyish one.

TY this is what I think more I can see of the photo. so I try to look for small beads with much core color I dont very much like the big plane glass about it.

As I'm still searching (for 3 years now!) for a beautiful ruby, I was very happy to find two beautiful sapphires and decided to take them both, even if I don't wanted to spent so much money. I decided to buy some of the pearl flower beads later, as I didn't know, if there will be more beautiful stones later! My LD told me from 50 of them there had only been 6 really nice ones (colors & cut) and I'm happy with my decision!

They look lovely swisstroll, gorgeous rich saturation and tone   Definitely worth getting the ones that call you when you can, like you say it may be a long search otherwise! Enjoy them  

Swisstroll,they are really stunning! Really blue. I just checked some sapphires on ebay and most of them are greyish  

I'm really curious about X do not know how you can add beads to it. Or maybe only a dangle.

Just a question,,does the new sapphire looks like the blue tiger eye?

I don't have a blue tiger eye anymore, the one I had was looking like a grey onyx and I could fortunately swap it. I saw some beautiful ones here on BT and FB but was never able to get one. My sapphires are really blue, even in the evening  when it is getting dark, my pics show their color very good. I hope to answer your question with this!

Thanks swisstroll! When i searched for tiger eye trollbead I only found some that look black. Your sapphires look really bleu and I want to know it for sure because I want to buy them too for my ruby bracelet

Congratulations, don't know if the sapphire or the bracelets are more stunning!!!

I just had a thought. I think that the X by Trollbeads might not be for Trollbeads. It might be a seperate collection of jewelery compleatly.
Maybe they are trying to do something different but want the name to make easier sells?

On the fall Collection: I just ordered the Poppy bead. (August) I can't wait to see what the back of the bead looks like!

Please post pictures of the Poppy bead when it arrives and that is a good thought about the X by Trollbeads.

My LD told me it is a separate concept and nothing to do with Trollbeads as we love them.
