Baby dragon on a leather bracelet

I bought the baby dragon specifically to wear on my leather bracelet and then couldn't get him on it when he arrived    I've worn him on a necklace, but always harboured the hope of getting him on the leather. And I finally have!  

First I threaded one end through the back.





It worked, but he tilted forward a bit. Then I tried threading it through the bottom and although he tilted to the side, I was much more pleased with how flat he sat on my wrist.







I tried threading it in a similar way, but ending out the bottom, but I'm not as fond of that.



Next to figure out what other beads to put on with him.

It looks great on its own. I wouldn't add anything. But if you really want to add, may be a small berry or two?

Yes, something with a texture like that that doesn't compete with him is what he needs, I think. I might try Jugend too since it has a nice texture, but might compete. Or perhaps a Faerybead  

I wanted to use my neither fish nor bird and the small faces, but neither fits over the ends of my leather bracelet.

I think he looks great all on his own on the leather

I don't have the Baby Dragon, but that is a really great look! I would wear it like that.

Oh   - I sold my Baby D because I didn't find him very useful.

I just bought Carla's Baby Dragon.

I'm glad I was able to inspire a bit I knew I wasn't the only one who struggled getting the baby dragon on the leather, so I figured I would share my experiments!

Looks great!!! I am not a fan of the TB leather, but the little dragon looks great on the leather.

Trollperle, yours looks really stunning on the two-tone bracelet. Great beads with it as well. Is that an amber right below the dragon?

I looked at mine again yesterday while doing "bead play" with my daughter, but of the beads I have, mine still looks best all by himself I think. Although I have been scoping out coloured leathers for him
