Not so matchy-matchy
Usually I'm a real stickler for having bracelets that are very symmetrical on each side, but lately I've been really happy with my less-matchy bangle combos! I've had the centre bead for a year and only worn it once on a necklace where it was the only glass bead. I've thought about selling it many times, but every time I take a picture of it I realize how much I really like it!
So I was so thrilled when I remembered that I had given my daughter the striped bead on the left because I didn't have a combo for it either (yes, I raided my 3.5 year old's jewellery box this morning! )

Nice!
I don't do matchy-matchy on my bangle (or anywhere, really!), or symmetrical either. I usually put a larger or more dramatic bead (Trollbaby or the Wolf, or a large amber) second or so from the outside of my wrist and put whatever I think goes well for the rest of it.

Re: Not so matchy-matchy
I have been using five beads: three glass, one silver, and a stone or pearl. The silver cannot be centered.
I also got two beads on a mail day that shared the same colors, so I just put the two of them on the bangle for a photo opp, but I discovered that I liked the duo just hanging out there on the wrist.
I never thought I would like the bangle, but it opens so many doors for fun combos and interesting color choices.

I usually *need* mine to be symmetrical. Not the same (no duplicates!) but similar enough to look symmetrical. Probably why I don't have many full bracelets

Mine is also always five, with three glass and two silvers. I've tried using three silvers and two glass, but the silver bead next to the silver stopper just doesn't do it for me. I've also tried three silver and four glass, but then it catches on my wristbone.
I like that I can create a bangle in a short span in the morning after I've figured out what I'm going to wear! Before I got the bangle I was using shorter chains to achieve much the same look, but the bangle does add a certain "something"

I like it a lot - maybe because it has no symmetrie!

I'm glad someone agrees with me, I was beginning to feel alone! Perhaps you have a good eye for rhythm, balance, and harmony, then!

Your bangle is very lovely - and I adore the center bead
I like the idea of symmetry but when I put my bangle or bracelet together with symmetry in my mind, I usually find the result a bit boring and take it apart, again, right away. Maybe my brain likes it wild at least on my bracelets as I need to be very well structured and organized in my working life
