OOAKs on Macrows only £9.99

Macrows seems to be having a massive sale. Ooaks are only £9.99 each and all other beads have a discount.

Yikes, wish I knew this would happen last night. I bought the bead for the Secret Easter bunny from another site. I could have bought her 3 Ooaks for my money.

Me too I bought a bead from my LD today for my secret bunny this morning. A couple of beads just fell in my basket. What the hell!

Well, all beads need company in those little bags whilst making the journey home (I only say that, coz I bought myself an ooak when I bought my SB bead too )

Maybe they're "just" trying to empty their stock of OOAKs.. Looks like it's not the best beads they've got left, so they're selling them for a bargain to get rid of them. I see several beads I like, but I would never pay 23 £ for them, but 9.99£ is a yummy price

I've read through the thread here, trying to figure out what's going on, and it's so difficult to say.. My idea is that they're just cleaning up, emptying their stock and won't be carrying OOAKs no more, because of the raise of price that other countries have experienced. Just a stupid guess, perhaps, but I agree with lobby that something's going on.

Well did hear they were not getting nice beads and were rejecting them...just like when they had the auctions going with great beads....never did get a turtle ...the beads that D4E were putting up were the ugly ones.....so maybe they are not getting looked after anymore...did get some great ooaks from the auctions tho...so not complaining

I think things are getting more difficult for shops in the UK. My LD wasn't allowed to order any of the Kimono beads so lost out on sales.

Just remembered they told me that Fable are revoking the exclusivity of shops meaning that more than one shop can open in each town and stock TBs. Not sure if this is good or bad. Maybe the smaller weaker shops will then disappear.

Oh that is not fair...not being able to order the Kimono beads....gee can see why dealers would not be happy...even our smallest shops here can order them .....I think all shops should be on a level playing field...no special dealers....how can a shop increase sales if not allowed to order....

A lot of the better OOAKs were bought when they were reduced to £12.50.

Macrow's were only allowed 3 sets of Kimono beads for all the customers of their 2 shops and website. They ordered more but I don't think they have been delivered yet. How can they be expected to stock Trollbeads if they are not supplied with the goods to sell to their customers? I get the impression that this has been happening a lot.

That is totally unfair...... my local dealer had more stock in than 3 sets I can tell you as I purchased 2-sets and there were many more to choose from.....so how can a big company like Macrows keep customers happy

Haddocks will no longer be selling Trollbeads according to the email. It was a great shop and both Mr & Mrs H are very nice. I'm really sorry this is happening

But when you are logged in all of the PRODUCTION beads are discounted too. That is what is suggesting maybe they are clearing out???

I'm logged in, and see the £9.99 beads, but all the production beads look full price on my computer

When I log in, almost everything is discounted. Of the things I checked only gold beads were not discounted. Could this be country related somehow? I note that prices I am seeing are lower than mentioned in previous posts and would appear to be without VAT.

Hmmm - strange. But my LDs have had no trouble at all getting Kimono sets and some of them are only silver dealers. Perhaps it goes on sales rather than the level of dealer? Weird and worrying.

Apparently the discounted prices are to do with a preparing to move to a new server and having to rewrite parts of the site.

I took full advantage.

I never managed to see any of the discounted production beads although clearly others did and still can apparently. Can't see how it was to do with changing to another server either! Weird.
