Big Cats Make Me Smile!
I recently just finished both these “big cat” bracelets. My tiger inspired bracelet includes glass beads all made by Kathy Perras which I completely love. I think the snakeskin dillo is one of my favorite beads ever. Kathy’s beads from right:
1 Snake Skin Armadillo
2 Lovely Leopard
3 Dichroic Siberian Tiger
4 Ebony and Gold Leaf
5 Gold Mirror Dillo
6 Ebony Tiger Tail
7 Amber Dichroic Armadillo
8 Siberian Tiger
9 Midas Touch Old Earth
10 Lime Tiger Tail
I normally don’t stack my bracelets but I often pair up my tiger bracelet with my African Pride bracelet (all TB). I love the look of both bracelets and enjoy them even more together.

I would wear these both together too. You did such a beautiful job choosing and arranging the beads. I love the contrast of different textures on the first one, the earthy beads with the smooth ones, and your choice of silvers is quite intriguing. I keep looking at it! After seeing the second I've decided that I need a rhino. Badly need a rhino.

Your Kathy Perras beads are amazing and I love the silvers you have combined them with!! And I totally agree with Fuzzyfeet - I could also look at your bracelets the whole day - so much texture and eye-catching details!

Beautiful combos! I have some of the glass and amber beads on your African bracelet, and I have some on order (black and white), but I never thought to put them together! In fact I thought the black and white will have to wait until I either get more of them or a bangle and now I know how to combine them with my existing beads My wallet is doing a thank you dance

Thanks for the compliments. Your rhino comments made me chuckle. I bought the rhino a couple of weeks ago partly since it was on sale 50% off at my LD. After I got the rhino, started handling the bead, and looking at it more closely – I really feel in love with it. It is a substantial bead that feels nice in your hands with interesting details for the rhino’s body. It struck me how honestly and beautifully the bead honors the rhino. I think I remember someone commenting on Beadthrilled that it was a very tactile bead. I know what they mean since my fingers are always drawn to this bead when I wear it. Funny, I probably would have passed on the rhino bead if it wasn’t for the fact that I got a great deal on it. Now it has turned into one of my favorite silver pieces. IMHO, I think this is one of those beads that you have to see and touch to fully appreciate.

Thanks! I picked this bead up on sale a couple of weeks ago. I thought it would look cool with the African bracelet since this bead sort of looks like a cool tribal mask or carving.

Oh what a lucky $ find! After your description of the rhino feel, I can't wait to have my own. Hopefully at a nice price. Thanks for the great description.

I am in love with you Kathy Perras combo!!!! A whole bracelet of her beads, that is fabulous! I could look at that one all day too The amber dichroic is my fave, always thought about getting one and never have. Hmm, may reconsider now after seeing your combo. And love your rhino story, I will have to get mine out and stroke him a bit too.
