Dear, dear wunderbar FLEUR!!! aka 'The most wonderful German SEB'!! Thank you thank you for the lovely gifts!! It was most fun opening the package and figuring out who you are!!

I was so excited when the postal slip came that I went to the post office a day too early!! Went back the next day to retrieve the treasures you sent...

...waiting for them to find the package (they'd put it in the "wrong place").

I asked the woman where the package was from, and she looked at me disapprovingly and said (w/ a Maryland twang and courtesy eye-roll):

"you don't even know where your packages come from? you're the one who should know." LOL! we laughed over this for a bit!

So many goodies: LOTS of chocolate--the Lindt bunny seems none too thrilled, lolol. Esp after he lost an ear...Merci eggs and milk eggs SOOO GOOD!! A lovely coffee canister and a votive candle holder w/votive that is so beautifully colored and designed. LOVE!! Plus colorful Easter ornaments and an AWESOME egg-shaped box!!!

CORAL OPAL!!! HOORAY!! I'm over the moon!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! The wrapping paper, lovely easter egg box, and all other goodies matched so perfectly. I really appreciate your time and thought!

OH! and a full sized TBs catalog!! It's really cool!



Threw it on a quick leather on the way out the door to a department mixer...Tequila was like you're leaving me for this? Always with the beads!



BUT the coral opal has found a new (mostly) forever home here...







THANK YOU THANK YOU DEAR SWEET SEB!!! I'm so excited about this bead and just adore it. It matches so perfectly with my most recent permanent bracelet, so it will mostly have a home here. It's so awesome too b/c I was really thinking I ''needed" more tangerine yellow-orange like the fur flower for balance. Being on the wagon and all (cough) really complicated things! YAY!! It's just made for this bracelet! Dunno how you knew, you genius you!!

It has 9 buds (the color is between lime and olive, sort of flashes gold-lime when they turn, and is consistent). Funny you ask b/c i'd stopped to count them once it went on the bracelet for no reason in particular (a girl must know these things.)

Why I asked you: I bought a coral opal for whom I was the SEB . It had 9 buds. When I came home with it, I compared it with my own coral opal, which has 12 buds. Then I asked around on a Dutch forum, and the ladies who own a coral opal all counted the buds, and all said: 9 buds. So I think 9 buds is standard. But mine has 12! I bought it the first day of the release, from an official TB jeweller in Utrecht. I'm really curious if more coral opals exist with 12 buds.
