Re: "New" OOAKs
I saw that too and was wondering: Do the OOAKs have a stamp now :
"Made in 2010 / 2011" or "Produced after 2010" , so that the dealers know in which category to put them ?
I bet that all great ones will go int the 2011 category which I WON'T buy unless it were soooooo absolutely gorgeous I couldn't live without it (and even then think twice).

I have already decided that I do 'mind' paying that much more for a small blob of modern glass made by low paid workers in a factory in China. I would prefer to pay less for an artisan to make me a similar bead.

I'm about to bail with all of these price increases. They are giving me good reason to cut the umbilical chord.

Re: "New" OOAKs
I ordered some though cause I loved a few on first sight, but upon holding them found them rather disappointing. These ones don't stand out, so I had them returned as the seller also dropped his prices in the meantime...
Re: "New" OOAKs
They are beautiful, but I just don't see myself going for them for the inflated prices.

Are you positive these are really new style? Or maybe just new stock at new price.
I'm still confused about the larger core size. Is it worldwide? Will ALL new OOAKs have the larger size? When do the "new" ones offically come out? So confusing...

I think that is the point. She is fooling the custumers and I am not going to buy from this seller any more.

Re: "New" OOAKs
They must be new stock/ old style since the German distributor Eulit said clearly, that the new style beads aren´t available yet !
Don´t blame the dealers ! I saw the letter they´ve got from Eulit and it was stated there, that ALL OOAKs were new price from March 1st.
Only after our invention on facebook did Eulit admit, that they still don´t have new style OOAKs. The dealers were never informed about this

Re: "New" OOAKs
Very bad news from Germany
The first dealers got the NEW OOAK Sets for the new price of EUR 39,-. And guess what ? They will all return the sets !!!!!
No new colors, new patterns or anything nice in the bunch, but lots of uglies
TB is really giving us a hard time !

Do they really believe that their customers are all stupid? It is insulting and puts me off buying from them.

Re: "New" OOAKs
Every time you turn around Troll is raising their prices. I too am getting disenchanted. I agree with Brightonbelle that artisan beads are the way to go with glass. There are only a few designs like glitter and spriograph that I would even consider paying top dollar for.

Re: "New" OOAKs
Very pretty. Where I live, the local dealers are all at the silver level and do not get good OOAK beads in stock. There is one dealer that has just reached Platinum Level but I rarely get there, and when I do, I usually go for the OOAK ambers.

So the old stock at new price then ?
Will be hard for our small local shops to keep selling ooaks.

Re: "New" OOAKs
I think Troll have lost the plot, they are victims of their own success really. I can't see me adding much more Troll to my collection of beads.
And it has really changed how I think too, as I used to think I collected Trollbeads, now I just collect beads.

I'm with you Brightonbelle. I've found some absolutely amazing artisan beads at way less expensive prices. I admit I have paid crazy prices for 2 of my Trollbeads However, I certainly don't make a habit of it. It is very off-putting to see OOAK's marked up to $45 and not see anything spectacular.

Re: "New" OOAKs
They are beautiful beads, I love the colours, especially of the second one but no way would I pay that sort of money, it's far too high and with the cost of living going up so much lately beads isn't a top priority

I haven't seen many good OOAKs lately. And dealers don't seem to be getting the numbers that they used to. No idea what it going on.

I noticed that D4E's recent offerings have been particularly dull... or do I mean dire?
