New Beginnings with Pink Agates
This is my first combination for the New Year using my anxiously awaited Striped Pink Agate Kit from the Swag Sale. It was a bit of a gamble ordering 'unseen' but I put a note with the order asking for a pale one if possible. The gamble paid off and I am looking forward to wearing this in the summer.

That is lovely. I like the soft colours and they match perfectly with your pearls.

Beautiful soft combo and it really glows against that rock. Do you mind if I ask what the egg bead is at approx 11 o'clock?

You're pretty much on the safe side that they'll even get paler !
All agate sets that have been exposed to light for a longer while now have these colours (you can barely see the brown stripes in the one at 5 o'clock) and I have to admit I like them much better this way than at their extremely artifical coloured state in the beginning! A beautiful delicate spring combo!

Re: New Beginnings with Pink Agates
I wondered if these had faded, if so they are very pretty now and much more 'me' than the bright shades when they first came out. They are not really striped, only the one, again I am pleased about that. I think it might be an idea to keep these in a box to protect them from the light unless I plan to wear them.

Re: New Beginnings with Pink Agates
Might be better, so they will stay like this! I saw a wonderful pale pink agate in a shop recently and the seller told me it was bright dark pink when she put it in the window last year. I sold mine a while ago, I should have kept it and waited for it to get nicer and nicer !cottinghamgirl wrote:I wondered if these had faded, if so they are very pretty now and much more 'me' than the bright shades when they first came out.
