Inspired by Hockney

We don't live too far from Salts Mill in Yorkshire (England) where there is a wonderful collection of David Hockney's work. This bracelet was inspired by Hockney and his work.

Here it is with my new Noosa bracelet (which I am really pleased with!)

I like the soft brown and watery blue green combo. Very pleasing to the eye!

Yes Beadgirl, Hockney's swimming pool pictures from his time in California was one element of inspiration. Another was his recent studies of trees in Yorkshire over the seasons - hence the green and wood beads. Hockney has a sausage dog, and has painted pictures of it in case you didn't know! I would like to get some other beads to develop this combo over time e.g. goldstone. I'd like to get something in a sort of cobalt blue for it too. But I have enough beads now to start exploring creative ideas anyway.
