Defiance of Winter
Torrential rain
Flooding
Gale force winds
I HATE them!
I am defying the winter. My heart is a fresh green stem with tender new buds ready to blossom.

That bracelet would be good for the 30C+ weather we're having at the moment. It's good to see the prisms on the leather bracelet, they're a good size for it I think.

Yes I had never tried them before. Two got stuck on the end but the rest went on OK.

You're such a rebel
I agree, had enough of Winter already and looking forward to fresh new growth ~ this is a delight, fresh and young and optimistic

The roof tiles were making all sorts of weird noises last night, flapping around...and the rain was terrible .
It's left flooding everywhere.

Eating cake is the best form of defiance IMO.

Didn't get much sleep last night, it was soooo noisy and my garden looks like a bomb hit it I've been reassembling and nailing all the rambling rose structures this afternoon, but it's not easy getting it to hold in wet rotten wood! I'm determined to get it upright again, it will cost a fortune to replace it allBrightonbelle wrote:It was more in the wind last night.
Did anyone else have any damage? How are our friends in the SouthWest, all ok I hope

I was awake between about 1.00am and 3.00am expecting a flying dustbin to smash my basement window, my chimney pots to collapse or my old trellis and crumbling garden wall to crash down. I haven't found any damage here yet but I wouldn't be surprised if the fence of the house that I rent out has come down. It seems to collapse at least once a year even though it is relatively new. Why did I move onto another hill that is even closer to the south coast? Madness!

BB that is gorgeous, I love the leathers and the prisms, I don't like winter, and your lovely coloured bracelet just made me smile,
I must get some more leathers, I only got red and brown....

What a lovely idea, me likey
Even here, the wind last night was rather impressive, some of the flooding elsewhere looks terrible.

Stunning bracelet !
I thought Pie might have to be renamed Pegasus but his large behind seems to have done the job and kept his hooves on the ground ! (although pooing on unsuspecting strangers from a great height does appeal to his sense of humor )
