General Question for starting a :make a monthly theme" bracelet

As some of you already noticed that it is a bit more quiet here than usual perhaps you might all like to make it more lively by starting a new topic.

In the past i've been on a different forum so this may not be new to everyone but I really really enjoyed the monthly theme contest.
There is NO prizes involved with this but the one who gets the most votes for the theme of the month get's their picture put in the monthly hall of fame and the winner can pick a new theme for the new month?

So we would have: 1 recurring topic with just the photo's for that theme of the month
2nd where we can all comment on the send pictures and at the end of the month we vote?
(I would have to try and figure out how that would work )
3rd one with just the pictures of the months who won like a hall of fame ?

But the main question is would you all like to have something like this done?

I would be interested in participating. Great idea.

I would really love to see all your entries but I am very bad at making bracelets to fit a set theme so I am unlikely to participate.

I don't mind if your good or bad??!! it's just showing something that you've made is fun enough I bet lots of us would really like it if you did enter

I tend to have more or less permanent bracelets and taking them apart to make a theme is unlikely, but I will enter a bracelet if I already have one fitting the theme

Fairy, I love your idea, but I agree with BB, no competition, there is enough of that outside in the real world, beads should only be pleasure

I think its a good idea, I'm not very good at getting organised, so I can't promise to enter every month but I think it would be fun to try something different.

I love theme bracelets, gets me thinking again! Perhaps if others don't want a competition as such, it can just be a 'challenge' ?

Is more a show if ones beads than an actual competition just for fun we don't even have to vote but I think it would be fun to liven up the place a bit, and the beads don't have to be new but will most surely be inspiring

You could do the same as TBGF?

Where a new picture 'theme' is posted once every 6/8 weeks and Trollies build a bracelet around the theme, with no judging at the end. I love this, as you can see different personalities flow through the beads, I really enjoy the creativity.

I'll start a new Topic
and as we are approaching winter and the days are getting shorter over here I think we'll start of with a winter wonder theme
if you live in a country that has a warm and summery feel to winter that would be awesome to see too
I'll open the topic and start thinking making my own winter creation

How about a dedicated forum for each theme?
Makes it a bit easier to comment to pictures and retrieve designs?
