Weird Scarab

My scarab only has one line running down it's back



Authentic or fake?
(This one was not purchased from a dealer )

maybe it is a very old version, I am not sure.....

Someone said that was the middle version. Old Scarab, 1 line, then 2 lines.

This is an older version,it's a real one

My looks the same way. Never thought of it as an old version. It was one of the first beads I got, and purchased from a real dealer

My son's girlfriend sent me a photo of some beads her mother wanted to sell and it only showed the scarab side-on so I hadn't noticed the single line on it's back. She has been collecting for years so it would seem that it is one of the older ones

I previously owned a scarab but sold it on a while back and it's one of those beads I regretted parting with, so am very pleased to have this one.

I wonder what else she has in her beadbox?

....and guess what? I just saw Worthing Pier on the telly, for a channel 4 programme 'the fear'. They had the actors standing on the spot where my Husband asked me out.
