My Childhood China Garden Empty My Childhood China Garden

Post by Brightonbelle Sun Nov 18, 2012 2:14 pm

My Childhood China Garden Childh10

This bracelet is my reminder of my childhood home.

More and more violets grew in the grass of the lawn every year. The flowers started out with very different colours but the insects cross pollinated them until there many different shades ranging from white, through pink and blue to deepest purple.

My mother and father collected china and it covered every surface inside our house. Many of the pieces had oriental themes.

My old home has been demolished but it lives on for me on my wrist.

You've got a beautiful bracelet, and the story behind it is lovely- as is the plate your bracelet is resting on!

What a great collection, I love seeing all the variations in colour and they look so good with the LE silvers.

Beautiful. My mom always has african violets and I have tried to keep up the
tradition but they do not bloom as hers did. What great memories though.

This bracelet is so beautiful and I adore blue and white china, loved hearing about your childhood home and so sad to hear that it is now demolished but lovely to hear that you wear this lovely bracelet as a reminder of your childhood home flower

That is one stellar bracelet, will you take it apart or is it going to be permanent?

Thank you ladies. It seems to be a permanent bracelet at the moment but I might be tempted to use my Chinese Silvers for something else.
