Show your tiny/small silver combo's!
There has possibly been a topic like this one before, but I couldn't find it on a quick search so thought I'd start this one.
After seeing so many bracelets with beautiful small silver beads (production and retired) yesterday, I would love to see more! Many trollies seem to lean towards the tiny/small silver beads and/or build a (semi-)permanent bracelet with them. Please show what you do with your tiny/small silver beads! Perhaps we could make a list for members (like me!) who have started to collect these themselves. I wouldn't know which silver bead is the smallest, but here I mean beads that are roughly the size of the retired smiley bead or the small berry bead for instance.

Re: Show your tiny/small silver combo's!
I'm trying to! So far, I've only managed to find a Navajo (from a BT member), an Aztec and an Angles Tip. I love the smallest Berries bead and the Falling Leaves from a year or so ago. I would love to find a Pyramids, Quatre, Pueblo and Tambourine!
Even with the bigger silvers I sometimes use more silvers than glass:

Yes, one of the bracelets you saw, Naranja, was my semi-permanent

Naranja, could you show the small silvers you have for your bracelet so far?
Which ones are you hoping to collect?
What kind of list are you suggesting?
Sorry, just me being curious again

I think quatre and pelisse are the smallest and pueblo looks big next of them.

Here are my smallest silvers together on an 18cm bracelet. I intend to transfer them to a 19cm bracelet with a smaller lock and add two more tinies next to Pyramids.

Re: Show your tiny/small silver combo's!
Happy to oblige Bluesy . Here are my small silvers paired with some prisms.
From left to right, excluding the stopper (all are Trollbeads):
Christmas rose, five faces (retired), red/pink prism (retired), WT mushrooms, silver bicone (Lars Glad remake), angles tip (retired), old pink prism (from one of the 'refound' batches), aztec (retired), old letter R (retired), salmon pink prism, smiley (retired), small berry, masks (retired), red/pink prism (retired), etruscan (retired).
What I had in mind was a list of tiny silver beads (production and retired) as a reference to members like me who are trying to put together a bracelet with these beads. Because it is sometimes hard to know the size of a bead just by looking at a TB stock picture, I love seeing them in real life and in members' pictures to get an idea of how big they are.
I have a huge wish list! The ones I think would fit size wise are:
- planet, small
- cells
- falling leaves
- hydrangea
- lotus
- plait
- fairy
- world within
- sandi (retired)
- small neither bird nor fish (retired)
- quatre
- pelisse
- angle, flat
- innuit
- tupilak (11129)
- zig-zag
- this one: http://trollbeadsuniverse.com/global/en-us/museum/1981-1985/11211
- this one: http://trollbeadsuniverse.com/global/en-us/museum/1981-1985/tbm045
- triangles, small
- pueblo
- pyramids
- frogs, small
- tambourine
- navaho
- small bead of prophecy

Re: Show your tiny/small silver combo's!
This is mine:
This bracelet contains my "special" silvers and gold bead so I can wear and enjoy them every day! Since I don't have enough retired silvers to fill the bracelet, I used some that have personal meaning to me - Eske's Swans (childhood memories of Boston's Swanboats), Romulus and Remus (I majored in Latin in college), Amadeus (for all those painful years of piano lessons - I am tone deaf and cannot carry a tune to save my life) and Mr Fairy Bead because he reminds me of my friend Paula and the antics her little guy gets into!
Naranja - As you can see, Lucky Knot, Lamb, Ladybug/bird and Mountain Flower all could be added to your list as beads that fall within the small beads, if they are not already there. Should my wish for a Pyramids bead ever come true, I will have to decide which bead to replace.
I used to wear my retireds and gold Ladybug on a leather bracelet and liked the look with a glass bracelet, but then a discussion on safety chains made me realize that, if the leather or lock broke, I would lose my special beads. I decided to put them on a silver like this (I think it was a picture of Bluesybead's bracelet that inspired me) so I could protect them with a safety chain. Now I love this bracelet (and I guess I can see why some of the collectors of other brands have only silver bracelets) and wear it almost everyday, along with a glass one that matches my outfit. I still love my TB glass, but I was really surprised at how much I like this silver only bracelet!

Michelle, you are quite right, Pueblo is quite big next to any of the small silvers, even a bit bigger than big triangles.

Re: Show your tiny/small silver combo's!
Wow, really a lot of great bracelets here
Thank you for answering my questions, Naranja!
There are quite a lot of tiny/small beads not on your list yet, and Pueblo may be on your wishlist, but it is rather a lot bigger than the small beads. Cells seem bigger to me as well, but I do not own it, so I could be wrong. Also can someone tell me, if tambourine and the first of the links are the same?
Just look at the above bracelets for inspiration for small beads
But whether or not a small beads should be included must be an individual choice.
- planet, small
- cells
- falling leaves
- hydrangea
- lotus
- plait
- fairy
- world within
- sandi (retired)
- small neither bird nor fish (retired)
- quatre

- angle, flat
- innuit
- tupilak (11129)
- zig-zag

Re: Show your tiny/small silver combo's!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts Bluesy! I didn't know Pueblo was about the size as the water lily. That is definitely bigger than for instance the smiley bead . They look alike, but I guess there are two tambourines? At least they are listed separately in the museum on TB universe.
