LE Kimono Kit & Tulip Lock

WOW!! This is the first time ever that my LD has actually had any sort of new release beads -- production or LE on the day that they were released. I bought 3 complete LE Kimono Kits -- 1 for me, 1 for Troll Boi (for his birthday) and 1 to split between the two of us (because we both like doubles).

I had 13 LE Kimono Kits to choose from! It was awesome.

I also thought I'd share with you my self gifted early 31st Anniversary gift --- the gorgeous Tulip Lock! I'm still waiting on one more very special bead that I'll share when I receive it.

I have seen the butterfly twice now with the Kimono beads and it looks awesome. I wasn't sure about it before. Fantastic combos - thanks to you, Zoey, for posting this combo so quickly - and to everyone else of course. I love kimono beads!! I hope Trollboi isn't reading your thread about his birthday!

No worries...we had a fabulous birthday dinner for Troll Boi tonight and he already received his gifts!

I have also ordered 2 sets so thanks for showing me how great the Kimono beads look in doubles. I don't normally like pink beads but those are really lovely. I think it is the subtle colour and delicate details on them that draws me.

I saw the kimono beads in person today at a local shop, and I just wasn't impressed that much. I think you might have to buy the entire set to make them work (as you did and then some!), and I just didn't like that enough to do that! Maybe it's because I am still wanting to buy the February release and HOPING the gems might come to the US... Yours looks really great though!
